Marine Tourism Sustainability Strategy with Triple Helix Support: A Case Study of West Sulawesi Marine Tourism

The tourism sector is one of the sectors that has been severely affected during Covid-19 pandemic, especially marine in Indonesia. In this work, a case study West Sulawesi region Indonesia was used to conduct qualitative reanalysis which raises concerns about sustainability existing area. This study, general, aims get answers on strategies areas prioritize as their main income, using strategy obtained based results observations and conclusions interviews with stakeholders within scope research uses method deep interview techniques processed by inductive means. Several people were selected process, accordance concept triple helix, model combines three elements represented government, academics industry players. Based analyses, several can be drawn, including; management requires strong cooperation collaboration from local residents, players supported academics; it also commitment not only increasing tourist visits but nature conservation efforts order ensure industry, lastly, sustainable business necessitates comprehensive coordinated plan, well support dedication all linked helix parts so these factors serve foundation for complete strategy.
